Ian is a chartered mechanical engineer with 17 years’ experience of innovation in the marine sector, working in wave and tidal energy, offshore wind, low carbon ship propulsion and uncrewed surface vessel technology. Ian has a proven track record managing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex research and development projects for private and public sector clients. Ian is passionate about the marine environment, its stewardship and sustainable development.
Project Engineer
Kyle is a fourth year Marine Technology student at the University of Plymouth, currently working towards his master’s degree. During Kyle’s degree he has gained over a year of experience in the marine industry primarily focusing on marine propulsion and resistance. His experience includes Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), working on 3D printers and coding engineering tools. Kyle is passionate about sustainable innovate technologies and hydrodynamics.
